Abstract

In the 21st century, the intersection of religion and technology has led to profound changes in how individuals and societies understand both realms. As technological advancements challenge traditional religious beliefs and practices, they also offer new ways to express faith, build communities, and engage with religious texts. This paper explores the multidisciplinary dialogues between religion, sociology, technology, and ethics, examining how technology has influenced religious practice, identity, and ethics. The paper provides insights from sociology, religious studies, and computer science, with a focus on how these disciplines interact in the modern world. By analyzing case studies of digital religion, the rise of online religious communities, and the role of artificial intelligence in religious decision-making, this study highlights the complex and evolving relationship between religion and technology in the contemporary era.
