Paper Prints Policy

The Journal of Empirical Economics and Multidisciplinary Methods (JEEMM) is committed to promoting the dissemination of high-quality research and ensuring that its content is accessible in both digital and print formats. The paper prints policy outlines the procedures and guidelines for printing the journal’s articles and making them available to readers.

1. Digital-Only Publication:

JEEMM follows a primarily open-access digital publication model. All content published in the journal is available online, and no physical paper copies of individual articles are automatically printed or distributed to subscribers or authors.

2. Print Issues (Limited Edition):

  • While the journal is digitally focused, limited print editions of the journal may be produced on special occasions, such as annual compilations, conference proceedings, or special issues.

  • Print editions will be available in limited quantities, and authors may be offered the option to request a copy if their paper is included in such an edition. These print copies are typically offered at cost price to cover printing and shipping fees.

  • Print editions may be available upon request for institutions or libraries that require hard copies of the journal for archival purposes.

3. Cost for Printed Copies:

  • Authors or institutions requesting printed copies of individual articles or special issues will be required to cover the cost of printing and shipping.

  • The cost will vary depending on the number of pages, printing quality, and shipping location. The journal will provide an estimated cost upon request.

4. Order Process:

  • To request printed copies, authors, institutions, or interested parties should contact the editorial office via email or through the journal’s website.

  • Printed copies of individual articles are not typically offered. Instead, authors may request print editions of special issues or volumes that have been compiled for distribution.

  • Authors of accepted papers will be notified if their article is included in any print editions and will be given the option to request a physical copy.

5. Environmental Considerations:

  • JEEMM encourages sustainability and environmental responsibility. As such, the journal limits the production of printed copies to special editions and only prints when there is a clear need or request.

  • The journal promotes the use of digital formats to ensure efficient distribution and reduce the environmental impact associated with paper printing and distribution.

6. Archival Access:

  • All published articles remain accessible online through the journal’s website and through various institutional and third-party repositories, ensuring that readers have constant access to the content in digital form.

  • In cases where print editions are produced, these will be distributed for archival purposes, and print copies will be stored in the journal’s records for future reference.

7. Reprints for Authors:

  • Authors may request reprints of their articles if they wish to distribute printed copies to colleagues, academic peers, or for conferences. These reprints will be printed at cost, and authors will be notified of the cost and shipping details prior to printing.

  • Requests for reprints should be made directly to the editorial office, and the journal will process these requests on a case-by-case basis.

8. Disclaimer for Printed Content:

  • Authors and readers should be aware that print editions may have minor differences in formatting from the online version due to printing constraints, but the content itself will remain consistent with the digital version.

  • Printed versions of articles will be provided in standard paper format with appropriate citation information, but these printed copies will not be considered the official version of record, which will remain the digital publication.
