Big data analytics has emerged as a transformative tool for evaluating macroeconomic policies in real-time. Traditional policy evaluation methods rely on historical and aggregated data, often limiting timely insights. By leveraging high-frequency and granular data sources such as financial transactions, social media, satellite imagery, and mobile phone usage, policymakers can gain deeper understanding of economic dynamics. This article reviews the application of big data analytics for fiscal, monetary, and structural policy assessment in Pakistan. Key analytical techniques, challenges, and the potential to improve policy design and implementation are discussed. Findings highlight the benefits of integrating big data into macroeconomic policy evaluation to enhance responsiveness, precision, and effectiveness.
