Occupational noise-induced hearing loss represents a critical and pervasive occupational health challenge globally, particularly within manufacturing sectors that operate on continuous, round-the-clock schedules. Shift workers in these environments are exposed to varying intensities of acoustic trauma, complicated by circadian rhythm disruptions that may impair physiological auditory recovery mechanisms. Traditional approaches to occupational hearing conservation rely primarily on retrospective audiometric monitoring, which detects hearing threshold shifts only after permanent, irreversible damage has occurred. This paper introduces a comprehensive framework for forecasting shift-worker audiograms based on cumulative factory acoustic exposure records. By integrating longitudinal dosimeter data, granular shift-pattern tracking, and baseline audiometric profiles, we develop a predictive methodology to anticipate hearing threshold deterioration before clinical manifestation. The study analyzes extensive acoustic datasets from heavy manufacturing facilities, establishing a clear link between cumulative noise dose, recovery interval durations, and frequency-specific audiometric decline. We explore the complex interplay between diurnal and nocturnal work schedules and their respective impacts on auditory fatigue and long-term sensorineural degradation. The findings demonstrate that utilizing cumulative exposure metrics, combined with shift-specific temporal weighting, significantly improves the accuracy of prognostic audiogram generation. This proactive approach facilitates early intervention, personalized protective equipment recommendations, and dynamic shift-scheduling optimization, ultimately mitigating the risk of occupational hearing loss. The proposed forecasting paradigm transitions occupational audiology from a reactive diagnostic discipline to a proactive, preventative science.
