Keywords:
Multidictionary, Digital Lexicography, Computational Linguistics, Language TechnologAbstract
The multidictionary, as a multifaceted linguistic resource, has evolved significantly from its traditional print-based form into advanced digital and interactive platforms. This paper traces the historical trajectory of multidictionary systems, analyzing their structural innovations, technological integration, and pedagogical implications. By comparing print editions with modern digital platforms, the study highlights how the transition has enhanced accessibility, multilingual capacity, and user interaction. Special attention is given to the role of artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and semantic web technologies in shaping the future of multidictionaries. The findings suggest that digital multidictionaries are not only tools for reference but dynamic systems contributing to linguistic research, cultural preservation, and global communication.
