Abstract

In today’s rapidly globalizing world, multicultural societies are facing an increasing number of conflicts arising from cultural, political, and economic differences. The complexities of these conflicts often transcend national borders, creating challenges for effective conflict resolution. This article explores the intersection of political science and anthropology in addressing conflict resolution in multicultural societies. By drawing from theories in both disciplines, the paper highlights how cultural understanding, political governance, and social structures influence conflict dynamics and resolution strategies. The paper also delves into case studies from Pakistan, showcasing both successes and failures in conflict resolution in multicultural settings. The article concludes by proposing an integrated framework combining political science and anthropology to offer more sustainable and inclusive solutions for multicultural societies.
